I think people look at me weird when I say the 5-7 books are my favorite. Yes, they’re depressing, but EVERYTHING happens in them. And HBP wins for Voldie’s story.

I LOVE every version of Tom Riddle in the movies. It’s honestly the best casting they’ve ever done. Because the child-Tom is jaded and evil because he hasn’t actually known about the wizarding world yet. Then young-Tom is getting used to lying to people more smoothly, but he’s just a little too cocky and it makes others a little frightened of him. Then Teen-Tom is the first real incarnation of the Voldemort side. He’s gotten enough power that he doesn’t even need the sweet-side anymore unless it’s the right strategy. Teen-Tom is the last time you see Tom Riddle. Then he starts his transformation. It’s fucking phenomenal.

In the scene where Harry, Ron, and Hermione are discussing Harry’s kiss with Cho, the three begin to crack up near the end of the scene. This was all real laughter from the three actors. The director thought it was good for the scene and kept rolling.

Rupert: Chris, I need to go to the bathroom!
Rupert: It’s a number two. It’s a number two!
